Adults: continental shelf, subtidal.

 

Taxonomic Notes

Originally placed in the subgenus Rigona which is no longer valid. Stock (1975) placed the type for Rigona into a new subgenus Pallenopsis, so P. hoeki is now considered to be in the subgenus Pallenopsis (see for example: Child, 1996)
