Family PODOCTIDAE Roewer, 1912
Introduction
Podoctids occur in Asia, northern Australia, islands of the south Pacific and Africa, and can be recognised by the strongly spined first legs. The sole Australian podoctid, Austribalonius horridus Forster, is only known from northern Queensland (Forster 1955).
