Family PISCICOLIDAE Johnston, 1865
Introduction
The family Piscicolidae are marine and freshwater leeches that can be collected in rivers, lakes and ponds and are commonly collected in estuaries and on marine fish. Members of this family feed using a protrusible proboscis.
