Family PEZIDAE Harvey, 1990
Introduction
The Pezidae is an endemic Australian family that includes two species in one genus (Harvey 1990; Walter et al. 2009). Both species occur in fresh water in south-eastern Australia, in rivers and temporary streams. One species was found in the gill chambers of a freshwater crayfish, where it may be parasitic, but their biology has not been studied.
