   Bulla ovum Linnaeus, 1758 by original designation (by subsequent monotypy, Lamarck, 1799, Mémoires de la Société d'Histoire Naturelle de Paris: 69).
• Ovulus Montfort, P.D. de 1810. Conchyliologie Systematique, et Classification Methodique des Coquilles. Paris : F. Schoell Tome 2 676 + 16 pp. [634] [unjustified emendation of Ovula].

   Ovula costellata Lamarck, 1810 by original designation.

  Type species:

   Ovula costellata Lamarck, 1810 by original designation.
• Amphiperas Gray, 1847 [Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London, 15: 143; Gray credited the name to Gronovius, 1781, but this was published in a work placed on the Official Index by Opinion 261. Herrmannsen, 1846, Indicis Generum Malacozoorum Primordia, 1: 41, listed Amphiperas Gronov. 1781, but it is uncertain whether this qualifies under Art. 11.5.2].

  Type species:

   Bulla ovum Linnaeus, 1758 by monotypy.
• Parlicium Iredale, 1935 [Archiv für Molluskenkunde, 71(5-6): 195, 200; Not available (no diagnosis) from Iredale, 1935, The Australian Zoologist, 8(2): 101; nor from Schilder, 1936, Proceedings of the Malacological Society of London, 22(2): 82. Schilder (1936) attributed Parlicium to Iredale, 1935, who has fixed the type species].

   Ovula costellata Lamarck, 1810 by original designation.
