Genus Otys Champion, 1895

Introduction
Lucas (1920) designated as type species Otys harpalinus Champion, 1895, an originally included species. This species is currently included in the genus Scaletomerus Blackburn, 1891 as a junior synonym of Scaletomerus proximus Blackburn, 1891 (Matthews & Bouchard 2008).
An application to the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature is necessary to reject Lucas’ type species designation (see Bousquet et al. 2015)
