Syntype(s) BMNH 3♂ (Common (2000 p. 116) mentioned a lectotype. However the usual comment 'hereby designated' was inadvertently omitted; a lectotype designation published after 31 December 1999 without this or a similar comment is invalid (Code, Amendment of Art. 74.7.3, December 2003); Common (1994, 1997) in one or two instances also inadvertently omitted the comment 'hereby designated' but these designations are valid being published before 31 December 1999), Melbourne, Vic; Mt Wellington, Tas.
