General

Detailed description by Froggatt (1921) includes a photograph of galls.

Structure

Species induces green galls, usually perfectly round. Male gall is much smaller, but resembles that of female. Adult scale reddish yellow to brown, covered with fine close hairs and white meal, almost round (see Froggatt 1921)
