   Lectotype ASCU ASCTHE101344 1 adult ♀ (on slide with another adult female, lectotype farthest from data label), Bendigo, VIC.
  Paralectotype(s) ASCU 1 adult ♀ (same slide as lectotype), same as the lectotype; ASCU ASCT00004861 dry galls (6 of female and 4 of male), all parasitised or empty, same as the lectotype
  Comment: The lectotype and associated paralectotype are in poor condition.

GENERAL

STRUCTURE

Female gall green, tinged with yellow, spherical, generally formed singly, basal orifice an irregular slit with rugose warty edges, gall soft and spongy with large chamber. Adult female is pale yellow, elongate, rounded (see Froggatt, W.W. 1894. Notes on the family Brachyscelidae, with descriptions of new species. Part III.
