[222] [Neave, 1940, Nomenclator Zoologicus, 3: 429, has an entry for "Opalia Carpenter, 1865 [The Annals and Magazine of Natural History, ser. 3, 15: 31] (see Psychrosoma Tapparone-Canefri, 1876)". Carpenter misapplied Opalia, which he attributed to H. & A. Adams, and did not establish a separately available homonym].
