WoRMS (2017): "Family allocation of Ollaphon uncertain. Sometimes placed in Muricidae."

Houart (2004): "Ollaphon Iredale, 1929 (type species: Trophon molorthus Hedley & May, 1908), a species originally included in Muricidae, is probably a fasciolariid."
