Introduction

Occirhenea is endemic to southwestern Australia. A single species is currently described from the King Georges Sound area with the possibility of a second species occurring in the Stirling Ranges.

Diagnosis

Shell small, discoidal to subdiscoidal with a flat to low-domed spire, whorls rounded; protoconch with close, low radial threads, teleoconch sculpture of prominent regular radials above, smooth and glossy below with weak radial threads; umbilicus moderately wide, U-shaped. Colour pale yellow.
