Family ONCHIDORIDIDAE Gray, 1827
Introduction
Onchidorids are generally small oval dorid-like species, mostly with a wider mantle spreading over the foot to touch the substrate. A few have higher body sides and flattened mantle. Some species have a dense network of glassy spicules visible within the mantle. Most species have a dense covering of papillae over the mantle, some few even with papillae within the gill circlet.
