Diagnosis

Trunk unsegmented, with dorsomedian tubercles; chelifore scapes 1 or 2-segmented, distally trumpet-shaped, chelae reduced to knobs; palps 9-segmented; ovigers 10-segmented, no strigilis, no terminal claw; legs armed with spinose tubercles and compound spines, propodus curved, tiny or large auxiliary claws. Cement gland single dorsodistal pore.
