Species Nurus perater (Sloane, 1923)

Lectotype ANIC 25 014984 ♂ (The collector of the type material, H.J. Carter, used the label ‘Tweed R.’ for specimens collected while based at Murwillumbah, on the Tweed River, which floods regularly. However, N. perater is common on the crest of the Tomewin Range (28.903ºS, 153.366ºE) which is within the Tweed River watershed and is almost certainly where the type series has been collected (Will & Monteith 2018)), Tweed River, NSW.
Paralectotype(s) ANIC 25 014985-86 2 ♀♀, same as Lectotype; MV T11905, T11906 2 specimems, Tweed River;
Syntype(s) ANIC (Sloane coll.) 3 specimens both sexes, Tweed River, NSW.
