Introduction
The genus name Novonothrus Hammer, 1966 is not available because the author did not fix a type species.
In addition to the named species listed here, unidentified species of Novonothrus have been reported from Australia by Palmer & Norton (1991), Hunt (1994) and Colloff & Halliday (1998).
