Sudzuki (1985) reported this Northern Hemisphere cold stenotherm from a sample collected from Margate Golf Course pond, Hobart, Tas., and sent to him by I.A.E. Bayly, Monash University; it has not been found again at this site in four return sampling visits; thus a doubtful record.
