Introduction
Nesopupa scotti differs from both N. hackerae and N. novopommerana by the combination of blunt spire and cylindrically pupiform shape. Pupa mooreana Smith 1894 from the Northern Territory and Western Australia is considered a synonym.

Diagnosis
Shell minute, golden brown, pupiform; shell surface finely wrinkled to granular with fine, oblique growth lines; aperture subquadrate with five barriers: a columellar, separate parietal and angular, and upper and lower palatal denticles; height 2.1mm.
