Introduction
Neolucia hobartensis albolineata from the Australian mainland had previously been confused with the nominate subspecies, which is restricted to Tasmania. Braby and Wurtz (2018) illustrated, diagnosed, described and compared Neolucia hobartensis albolineata from montane areas in SE Australia with the nominate subspecies Neolucia hobartensis hobartensis (Miskin, 1890) from Tasmania and Neolucia hobartensis monticola Waterhouse & Lyell, 1914 from northern New South Wales.

Larva: herbivore (associated flora: Epacris breviflora Stapf [EPACRIDACEAE]; Epacris paludosa R.Br. [EPACRIDACEAE]; Epacris petrophila Hook.f. [EPACRIDACEAE]).
