Reported from Nuyts Archipelago in the Great Australian Bight, SA by Gershwin & Zeidler 2003. Generally, Nausithoe species are found in tropical waters. .

Ecological Descriptors
Epipelagic, marine, neritic, planktonic.
Diagnosis
Total body diameter (including lappets) less than 3mm; with mature gonads; without pigmentation. With a single gastric filament in each quadrant.
