Carnivorous, epipelagic, marine, planktonic.

Polyps have been raised from Queensland specimens by Gershwin (unpublished notes, 2000).
Diagnosis
Nausithoe with 9-15 mm wide, discoidal body; central disk thick, without radiating furrows, finely punctured; gastral filaments not grouped in clusters; large gonads.
