  Type species:

   Naucoris maculatus Fabricius, 1798 by subsequent designation, see International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature 1963. Opinion 681. Naucoris Geoffroy, 1762 (Insecta, Hemiptera): validated under the plenary powers. Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature 20: 411-413 (originally spelt as Naucoris maculata; type species misidentified by Geoffroy as Nepa cimicoides L., 1758).

  Type species:

   Thurselinus greeni Distant, 1904 (=Naucoris scutellaris Stål, 1858) by monotypy.

  Type species:

   Naucoris parvulus Signoret, 1861 by original designation.
