Collingwood : CSIRO Publishing Vol. 4 xiv 529 pp. & CD-ROM. [230] (Micronia Guenée, 1857 is represented in Australia by a single species which has been referred to as Micronia justaria Walker, 1861 of which the holotype came from New Guinea. Holloway (1979) considers M. justaria Walker, M. fuscfrimbria Warren, 1897 and M. dilatistriga Warren, 1901 closely related and possibly conspecific but treats them as separate species. He considers Australian specimen referable to M. fuscifrimbria Warren. The syntypes of M. fuscifrimbria Warren are from Tenimbar in Indonesia and the specimen labelled "type" in the BMNH is certainly distinct from the Australian species. The Australian species may be M. justaria Walker or it may he undescribed)
