Syntype(s) BMNH 1911.11.8:13692 ♀ with tiny oostegite buds, 40 to 50 miles north by west of Eagle Island, County Mayo, Ireland, eastern North Atlantic Ocean; BMNH 1947.11.4:11-13 4 specimens; BMNH 1947.11.4:17 1 specimen; 7 specimens (1 in NMI).
