Ecological Descriptors
Adult: predator, terrestrial.
Diagnosis
Length 1.0 mm. Body densely setose, setae very short and appressed. Antennal clubs formed by apical two antennomeres.
Male eyes formed by about 35 facets; meso- and metatibiae swollen to middles, trochanters and tibial apices not modified; visible sternite 6 (VIII) depressed medially. Females unknown. Holotype male: [Northern] Queensland, Mossman Bluff Track, 5-10 km W Mossman, 250 m, XII-20-1989/I-15-1990, Monteith, Thompson, and ANZSES, site 1, intercept (QMBA). Paratype: 1%, same data except, 760 m, site 5 (DSC).
