Diagnosis

Rostral apex angulate to rounded, apex with deep narrow incision filled with squamous setae; maxillary palpi with second and fourth segments quite long, each nearly as long as head, fourth segments with margins of V-shaped sensory areas not marked by sharp carinae; gula bulbous, smoothly rounded. Pronotum with faint to distinct antebasal sulcus, indistinct median antebasal fovea bracketed by short parallel carinae, lateral antebasal foveae punctiform.
