Introduction
This is a very small subfamily comprising only five described species worldwide. Masonia occurs in Australia (2 species) and north America (2 species), while the monotypic Mannokeraia is endemic to Australia. The females of Masonia are bizarre, wingless, ant-like wasps, while the males are fully winged, have very reduced venation, and an elongate head (as in females). Nothing is known about the biology of this group.
