Genus Malaconothrus Berlese, 1904

Introduction

In addition to the named species listed here, Ermilov et al. (2015) reported unidentified Malaconothrus from Tasmania, Malipatil & Blyth (1982), Hunt et al. (1998) and Colloff & Halliday (1998) recorded unidentified species of Trimalaconothrus, and Walter (1995) and Colloff & Halliday (1998) recorded unidentified species of Zeanothrus . Osler (1997) and Colloff & Halliday (1998) recorded unidentified species of Malaconothrus under the name Fossonothrus. Colloff & Cameron (2013) reviewed the taxonomy and biogeography of the genus.
