AMS holds specimens identified as this species thus: Norfolk island (C.212083) Lord Howe Island (21 lots, eg C.212084) Madagascar (C.463366) Mauritius (C.303403) Wilson (1993) gives the distribution of this species only as Lord Howe island, but gave the distribution of a species that may be identical with this as North West Cape, WA, around northern Australia to Caloundra, QLD.
