Introduction
Treated as a subspecies or synonym of M. heliophila Boisduval, 1875, or of M. divergens Walker, 1856, the latter being the senior synonym by priority (see Holloway, 2011). Moulds et al. (2020) presented molecular and morphological evidence to support treating M. queenslandi at the specific rank.
