Introduction

Two species Protonucula verconis and Neilo australis where listed in the family Neilonellidae (see Beesley, Ross & Wells 1998), but they have now been placed in the family Malletiidae according to Huber (2010). At present there are no memebers of the Neilonellidae recorded from Australia.
