Misidentifications
From Pont 2019: It was recently established (Vikhrev 2016) that the palaeotropical Lispe geniseta Stein, 1909 consists of three closely similar species: the Afrotropical L. macfiei Emden, 1941, the Oriental L. geniseta, and the Australasian L. setigena Vikhrev & Pont. Almost all the Australian material of this species listed [in Pont 2019] was identified by me earlier as L. geniseta.
