Holotype BMNH, ?Mundarra, VIC. Westwood gave the type locality as Mundarra River (as propre fluvium Mundarra); no such locality can be found, although there are two homesteads in VIC, named Mundarra. - Liparochrus ciliboides Harold, E. von 1875. Diagnosen neuer Arten. Coleopterologische Hefte 14: 137-140 [138].
