- Egernia geophana Anon. [Horton, D.] 1968. New lizard found in New England. The Armidale Express 7 Feb 1968: 5 [5, fig.] [?nom. nud.; the status of the above description is equivocal. It would appear to fulfil the criteria of availability under Articles 11–14 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, but the question of anonymity (Article 15) will probably require resolution by the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature].
