Reported in Australia by Mayer (1915), from Thursday Island, Torres Strait. Tropical and sub-tropical Pacific.

Dependent on zooxanthellae as a partial food source.
Diagnosis
Linuche with two rows of subumbrellar protuberances: one on and between the gonads, and the other around the bottom of the gonads.
