Diagnosis

Head with V-shaped vertexal sulcus connecting nude vertexal foveae, sulcus and foveae often obscured by male modifications of vertex; head as wide as pronotum. Pronotum with biarcuate antebasal sulcus connecting nude lateral antebasal foveae. Elytra with three basal foveae; discal stria extending to or surpassing elytral midpoint. Median mesosternal fovea punctiform; lateral mesosternal foveae large, continuous internally; lacking lateral metasternal foveae. Visible tergites 1 (IV) and 4 (VII) slightly longer than others, to 1-4 (IV-VII) subequal in length.
