Generic Combinations
- Leucascus protogenes (Haeckel, 1872).
Introduction
Previously noted as "nom. nud. as Ascetta primordialis var. protogenes, as Leucosolenia protogenes (Haeckel, 1872) [was] interpreted as an objective synonym of Leucosolenia primordialis", however this is recognised by Cavalcanti et al. (2013) as a valid species.
