Comment: Amey & Couper (2018) determined that the Queensland locality is undoubtedly erroneous and that the specimen must have been collected in the north of the Northern Territory.

Introduction
Amey & Couper (2018) re-evaluated the collection data associated with the holotype specimen and compared aspects of its morphology with specimens from the north of the Northern Territory. They concluded that specimens from the two widely disparate localities — the Northern Territory and Woodstock, Queensland — represent two distinct species, that the type locality as specified is erroneous, and that the holotype must have come from the north of the Northern Territory. No specimens have been collected in Queensland and thus this species should be removed from the faunal list for Queensland.
