Holotype ANIC ♀, 3 km N Cardwell, QLD, from blister galls on Melaleuca dealbata.
Paratype(s) 5♂ 4♀, 4 pupal exuviae, 2 larvae (ANIC/USNM).

Ecological Descriptors
From blister or trumpet-shaped leaf galls on Melaleuca species; Gagné (1997) suggests that this speice may be an inquiline or successor in the galls.
