Kelp Gull
Introduction
Frequently divided into subspecies witth Larus dominicanus antipodus in SE Australia and Larus dominicanus judithae from Macquarie Island and other sub-Antarctic islands e.g. Jiguet (2002), Jiguet et al.(2012). We retain Larus dominicanus as monotypic until a more comprehensive revision can be completed.
