Holotype NMV F91315/F91341 Colony in ethanol/malinol mounted microslide from holoype colony; infertile colony on a fragment of primnoid gorgonian, hydrorhiza intergrown with those of other hydroids, off Macquarie Island [56°15.7'S, 158°30.2'E to 56°18.0'S, 158°28.7'E].
