Type data:
Lectotype SAMA D18934 (fossil, selected from syntype lot (T1611—Tate Museum Coll) from 6 specimens mounted on tablet: the lectotype still loose, and contained within a glass vial), Beaumaris, VIC, Sandringham Sands, Black Rock Member, Cheltenhamian (Upper Miocene).
Paralectotype(s) SAMA D18935 5 specimens (same data as for lectotype); SAMA D18936 1 specimen, Pliocene Muddy Creek.
