Cassellis : Theodor Fischer Vol. 1 637 pp. [461] [junior homonym; not Gallinula Brisson, 1760; Catalogus conchyliorum quae reliquit... comes de Yoldi, 1: 61; Attributed by Mörch to Klein. Under Art. 11.6.2, not available from Herrmannsen, 1847, who had an entry for "Gallinula Klein", but considered it to include species of Strombus and Voluta. Invalid: junior homonym of Gallinula Brisson, 1760 [Aves] and others; see Labiostrombus].

Adams, 1854"], non Brisson, 1760 [Aves]. Oostingh stated the type species to be Strombus succinctus Linnaeus, but under Art. 67.8 the type species of Labiostrombus is the type species of Gallinula].
