Introduction

Unidentified species recorded from Hemiscyllium ocellatum (Bonnaterre, 1788) [HEMISCYLLIIDAE] Ocellated Catshark, Epaulette Shark (syn. Squalus ocellatus; muscle); Lates calcarifer (Bloch, 1790) [CENTROPOMIDAE] Barramundi, Giant Perch (muscles); Seriola lalandi Valenciennes, 1833 [CARANGIDAE] Yellowtail Kingfish (syn. S. grandis; muscle); and Thunnus maccoyii Castelnau, 1872 [SCOMBRIDAE] Southern Bluefin Tuna (muscles, nerves). See O'Donoghue and Adlard (2000).

Unidentified Kudoa species originally identified as Hexacapsula recorded from Thalassoma lunare (Linnaeus, 1758) [LABRIDAE] Moon Wrasse (muscle (+ PCR)); Grammatorcynus bicarinatus (Quoy & Gaimard, 1825) [SCOMBRIDAE] Shark Mackerel (muscle (+ PCR)); and Scomberomorus commerson (Lacepede, 1800) [SCOMBRIDAE] Narrow-barred Spanish Mackerel (muscle (+ PCR)).
