Entomologisk Tidskrift 61: 42-45 [43] [originally described as subgenus of Euodynerus Dalla Torre, 1904; elevated to generic rank by Carpenter (1986)].

   Odynerus (Lionotus) excellens Pérez, 1907 by original designation.
