Type data: lectotype BMNH ♂*; the Felders in the original description did not indicate the number of specimens described.
Subsequent designation: Parsons (1998: 450; referred to a holotype and gave type information); Edwards, Newland, & Regan (2001) interpret Parson's (1998) reference to a holotype as a lectotype designation (Art. 74, ICZN 1985).
Type locality: Misoöl, Indonesia ('Ins. Mysol' given in original description).
