Extra Distribution Information

Occurs from Kuranda, Forty Mile Scrub, SSW of Mt Garnet and the Bogie River district W of Bowen and west to Mitchell, QLD, from Duaringa, Qld, through NSW and the ACT to central VIC, specimens have also been taken near Broken Hill, NSW.

Australian Endemic.

Larvae are attended by Iridomyrmex spp., predominantly I. purpureus (Smith) and I. spadius Shattuck.
