Comment: Staudinger in the original description mentioned both sexes but not a type; Druce, H.H. 1902. Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London 1902(1): 112–121 pls 11, 12 [120] (mentioned a specimen sent to him by Staudinger, and this specimen was also mentioned by Waterhouse, G.A. 1936. [unpublished personal manuscript of observations made at the BMNH (Lycaenidae)]. Photocopy located at ANIC, Canberra, ACT. 92 pp. [82] noted as present in the BMNH in 1936).Type locality references:
