Family JULIDAE Leach, 1814
Introduction
The largest julidan family, Julidae is estimated to include between 500 and 600 Palaearctic species (Enghoff 1993: 535). According to Hoffman (1980: 103), "This family may merit the distinction of being the most difficult of all diplopod groups to resolve".
