   Status unknown, (The type locality of Perna anomioides is given by Reeve, as California, but Prashad, B. 1932. (The Lamellibranchia of the Siboga Expedition. Systematic Part 2. Pelecypoda. Siboga-Expéditie Report 118(34): 1-353, pls 1-9, 1 map, [86]) said that "on the type-tablet of the Cuming Collection in the British Museum (Nat. Hist.), London, the locality is given as Torres Strait), Torres Strait, Queensland.
